REOPENING LSCC

The board and many volunteers continue to labour to maintain COVID-safe church services. The church had reopened and is operating in a COVID-safe practice in accordance with government regulations.

We welcome you to attend church this coming Sunday at the normal time of 11am (for more information see FAQ).

Please do NOT attend if you have a fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough, or any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been a close contact and required to isolate, or have returned from interstate/overseas travel within the last fortnight. If you are in the moderate to high risk groups, please exercise your judgement to follow the DHHS recommendation to avoid large gatherings. Please be aware of DHHS restrictions for carpooling to church if not from the same household.

The wearing of face masks continues to be strongly recommended and encouraged in church as we are unable to physically distance sufficiently inside the chapel and as we consider the interests of our church community especially the more vulnerable members of our congregation

Services will continue to be streamlined. We will continue to have communion at a reduced frequency due to the COVID-19 situation. Because of the risk of transmission with shared elements, we are unable centrally serve the communion elements. Single-use communion elements will be provided.

We plan to continue live-streaming the service for the foreseeable future, as there may be some of you who are still not able to return to physically meeting due to health safety and other reasons.

More details on these points are available under our FAQ section.
